About Yumotoya
Yumotoya has a total of 16 rooms. All rooms are Japanese-style. We have some larger two-room suites as well.
Yumotoya offers three baths for your enjoyment, the cypress open-air baths, "Iimori-no-Yu" and "Takakura-no-Yu" and the large communal bath, "Tsugamine-no-Yu."
Enjoy meal, such as our Domestic Wagyu shabu shabu, Wagyu grilled on a ceramic plate, and Pork shabu shabu courses.

Hot spring information
Nicchu Onsen of Aizu, which overlooks the Iide and Azuma mountain ranges, is a historic hot spring discovered in 1813 at the end of the Edo period.
Looking upon the majestic natural scenery while bathing will truly give you the sense of bathing in natural flowing hot spring.
Let the fatigue flow from your body and soul as you enjoy the scenery of the four seasons.
The water is characterized by its deep brown color and cloudiness due to the high iron content.
Yumotoya offers three baths for your enjoyment, the cypress open-air baths, "Iimori-no-Yu" and "Takakura-no-Yu" and the large communal bath, "Tsugamine-no-Yu."

Enjoy the natural hot spring flowing 100% from the source in the cypress open-air baths.
The water has a high iron content and is therefore brown and cloudy, but it is water straight from the well source so you can be confident that it is safe.
Large communal bath, "Tsugamine-no-Yu."
The water in the large communal bath is circulated and filtered so it is clear and transparent.
One entire wall is a large glass window, so the scenery is as enjoyable here as it is in the cypress open-air bath.

Dining information
We can prepare breakfast and dinner for you.
The meal courses are "Wagyu grilled on a ceramic platter," "Domestic wagyu shabu shabu," and "Pork shabu shabu."
The standard course is "Wagyu grilled on a ceramic platter," and a grade above that is the "Domestic wagyu shabu shabu" course.
Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dislikes.

- * There are no baths in the guest rooms. Please use the large communal bath.

- * We provide traditional Japanese bedding of a futon spread on tatami mats, however we can prepare a simple bed if you so desire.
